Senior Consultant technology M&A

Location: Cologne or Frankfurt

We accompany our clients on their way into the Digital Economy with classical Management Consultancy and outstanding Technology Expertise.

What you can expect

  • Consult our clients in M&A transactions within the Telecommunications Industry strategically and technically with a focus on:

                            – Technology strategy & execution in context of integration and divesture

                            – Supporting in the identification of opportunities and targets within the industry; execute (Technology) Due Diligences

                            – Navigate the deal pre-closing: including deal structuring, detailed integration / separation planning, incl. Technology Blueprinting,  TSA management

                            – Apply deep expertise in synergy and target modelling, including in Clean Team environment

                            – Secure closing from Technology perspective, incl. Day1 readiness certification

                            – Setup and manage the post-close (Technology) integration / separation teams to realize the targets against set budget

                            – Take responsibility as Project Manager and within the scope of transaction management and client management

  • With your experience you will develop industry-oriented consulting topics and methods as well as support in the marketing of our     consulting services
  • We aim to support operators and adjacent players with their strategic M&A transactions and contribute to where it matters most:  Technology. Different roles have to be played. Be one of them!



What we are looking for

  • Degree in economics, (business-) informatics, (commercial-) engineering, natural sciences or a comparable degree (incl. MBA)
  • Relevant professional experience, ideally in M&A consulting, investment banking, M&A / Corporate Strategy or related departments
  • Experience in project management and client management
  • Skilled negotiator in preparing offers and in project- and client acquisition
  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills combined with above-average commitment
  • Enthusiasm for the interaction of technology and strategy / M&A
  • Readiness to share knowledge with less experienced colleagues andinternal need to continuously learn
  • Good presentation skills in English and German as well as readiness for foreign assignments
